I have a BA Fine Art degree cum laude from Stellenbosch University in 1985.
I taught art in high schools 1987-9.
I have illustrated books 1989-97.
I have participated in many group exhibitions and held 3 major solo exhibitions in Cape Town between 1998 and 2009.
I have numerous works in private collections in South Africa, France, UK, USA, Australia.
I started a cards and creative stationery business called Cape Fauna and Flora in 2008 inspired by local birds, plants and animals in the Cape peninsula.
I am inspired by my Creator, nature, hiking, good design, The Middle East, Africa, beautiful interiors, windows and doors, old buildings, fresh fruit and vegetables, shiny textures and the LIGHT
